I attended a Gwar concert in NYC with my buddy Aaron. Certainly not for everyone, Gwar is an extreme metal band who, for nearly 40 years, has been performing in costume as intergalactic slave traffickers determined to subjugate all Earthly humans. Their songs and shows, though notoriously graphic, are satirical and best enjoyed with a dark dash of humor. Still, viewer discretion, and balcony seats, are advised.
