My grandfather grew up friends with the Borgatti family, legendary ravioli makers of Bronx’s Little Italy since 1937. Their exquisite food has long been the centerpiece of my family’s Christmas tradition. In 2010, I wanted to document the behind the scenes of this annual celebration of food, friends and family.
