My grandfather Joseph grew up friends with the Borgatti family, legendary pasta makers of Bronx’s Little Italy since 1937. Their world-famous ravioli have long been the centerpiece of my family’s Christmas tradition. In 2010, I wanted to document the scenes behind this annual celebration.
